We're looking for the following:

- Large head
- Flat mid-face
- Prominent forehead
- Flattened bridge of the nose

I say his face totally looks like that of a person with achondroplasia but the fact that we can't see the rest of his body and that his hands look fairly normal throws me off.

@ Angelita: Sorta... I just wanted to know if a dwarf was as obvious in a painting as he would be in a photograph. Which reminds me... does this guy look dwarfish to you guys?

@ Chale: Yes, you've probably seen the painting before. It's quite famous. It's called El niño de Vallecas. It was painted by Diego Velázquez (1642ish) and it's part of the collection at the Museo del Prado in Madrid. I absolutely love Velázquez, one of my favourite painters.

Anyway, sorry ppl, as I stated in my first post, there are no right or wrong answers. You've been most helpful, tyvm.

He looks like a sad little person, because of his facil expression and the contrast of the painting.
It looks like he might be in a cave, but i think he also might be sitting on the bark of a tree. And in the background it looks like a dark gloomy day.
I believe this is from the 1800-1900 era. And kind makes me think of the french.

GRINGA please post the answers please!!

LOL, I thought at first 'facil' was an art term.

I guess you'll all have to wait for the answer, Lahtina's in class right now.

I can't wait...

do we win a prize if we get it right? Do we get a taco or something?

Or wait just a sec there... are we doing Lahtina's homework???

By golly, I've got it

I think it's Pepe, Chale and Luna's midget lover, and he looks like he's in pain because right in front of him Chale and Luna are doing a striptease... (Chale and Luna... ) and he's thinking, "I'm the midget and they're the ones who are so pathetic... "

He looks like one of the characters from Oliver's Twist.
He is a small person and maybe because of that his smile isn't as wide or prominent. It's more of a smirk but without the sarcasm.

Maybe he is into the carpentry, since it looks to me like he's holding a piece of wood.

I like these exercises! please post more GL!
