Genie, you may love Le Chateau, but you certainly CAN'T spell the name.
Question: If they make racist remarks, do you let your supervisor know? Can you get somebody fired?
Well it definatley does sound interesting, and I really wouldnt mind getting some free clothes or food... so i think i might give it a try. Thanks for answering my Q's girl... you rock.... even more so than Fito
Chale Tanga wrote: @ Genie: thanks for the info girl... but one question....
Im sure that shopping for a few items (Im basing this assumption on when I used to work for Staples, and I saw the mystery shoppers enter and leave the building) will only take a few minutes... so then, you dont work a full hour.. does that mean you dont even get the $10.00 for that time?
wELL it truly depends you see in a position like the Grocery store (i have never done a grocery store) I assume its like doing regular grocery shopping they ask you to compare stuff and ask questions and all this takes time so lets say you do half an hour i assuem they still pay you the full hour cuz then you still have to send in the report and stuff and a good myster shopper will take time.

and as for that shopper at Staples it could also be that she/he was asked to evalute like two different ones cuz they do that sometimes if its the same owner and she had to go to the next one so really it all depends on the job every job is different
@ Genie: thanks for the info girl... but one question....

Chale Tanga wrote: @ Genie: soooooo.... if you dont mind us knowing, about how much do you get a job? or a month? How do they compensate you? And if you have to go out and buy the products yourself, then Im assuming you get reimbursed your purchase as well as get paid for your time? Jes? No?
@ MJ: Did you get any info back?
Well they send you alot of emails ill post one, so it tells you how much the hour and if you want the job you simply read the rest of the email and it tells you who to respond to what day your going and all that information they send you via email the paperwork and all. Payment wise you have a two options they can send you checks or do direct deposit into your account, also yes they reimburse you but you must keep your receipts and send them once they have provided you with the info! NOw the catch is they will in some instances only reimburse you for some things not everything!! SO keep that in mind and if they are paying you hourly they may not reimburse you since they are paying you! But every job is described in detail to you. BUT MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FULL EMAIL AND PICK AND CHOOSE CORRECTLY!

I was about 2 ask the same question, I hate shopping but I like extra cash....

I would suck big time toe as a mystery shopper because: 1) I haaaate shopping, especially on a Saturday afternoon. I think I'm allergic to people and crowded places. 2) When it comes to restaurants I looooooove everything.
So no mysterious or non-mysterious shopping for me.
Thats who i work for you do have to pay to be a member and they send you emails of companies looking for Shadow shoppers and once you check it out u decide if you want to take it but if you do it has to be fast. They set it all up and you get paid if you buy something some companies reimburse u some dont. I have gone shopping at the airport for fun and then i have also done yorkdale and other places you get jobs close to you or far you can even get to go to canadian owned resorts!
Its really cool and if your traveling in the USA they ahve some job offers there too so its all cool

Ok, I'll use my old place as an example. Catalyst Capital Group would hire individuals to scope out all Richtree Restaurants because Catalyst owns them and they want to know how their employees are treating customers. So let's just say you've been hired by Catalyst. Now you and Bianco go for dinner at Richtree and pretty much fill out a survey that Catalyst gave you with questions such as: "How was your server?" "How was the food?" "How was the hostess?" What suggestions do you have?" ETC. ETC. ETC.
The "mystery" is that no one knows you're working for the head honchos.

aaaaaaaaaaah! K, but wouldn't you GET paid for that, as opposed to PAY to do it?:confuse:
Yes, you get paid to do it but I guess the one time fee is to cover mailing documents, payroll, coupons, yada yada yada. I dunno.
Nothing comes for free.

why would they have to PAY to become a mystery shopper? I think its a flawed link or company. I wouldn't trust it but knowing you, you're going to do what you wanna do and make them take your money so you can work that's Chale for ya!
ANYHOOO, I remember when I was looking for a job way back in the day, and the Rogers Centre had a job posting for a "mystery shopper" and there was no mention of having to pay. If a company wants you to work for them, you shouldn't be the way acting as payroll.
Damn u look so hot luna in your pic I think I am in love
By the way I am talking about your avatar....

You must be talking about her Avatar cause you would be pretty freaked if you saw her. She has no eyebrows. Her expressions always look like this---->
