I think the best is send her an email with copy to your boss. That's normal. In that mail you can ask her to give you and answer and remind her the deadlines. I always do it at work! is the best. Your mail should be very professional.

Can you believe I did that?  And she chooses to reply to HER boss and not me.

@Dogo:  Boss doesn't have time.

Anyway, I got fed up with waiting for her so I sent out a meeting invite for today and you know what her response was?????

"Wow!  You read my mind!  I was thinking that time too!!!!!"

Is it just me or does it seem that some people just get stuck in that "high school" phase? I'm actually kinda glad I never went to high school anywhere in NA. Although technically, TECHNICALLY, Mexico IS NA. :double hmm:

Why do YOU have to make arrangements for your training?
shouldn't your boss/supervisor be doing that?

There's a girl here at my workplace (no, not my BFF). She applied for my job and obviously did not get it. From the moment I started here, I have felt some SERIOUS animosity. I decided to just ignore it. I thought to myself, "She'll get over it and realize I had nothing to do with the ultimate decision." Anyway, 3 months later, she's still not over it. To make matters worse, they've decided to give me all her projects since her "admin" position was only temporary. I have sent her countless e-mails asking her when she's available to train me and NOTHING!!!! I don't want to go to the boss because I just don't want to seem like a rat but in the end, when these projects aren't complete, all eyes will be on me.

Geez, you should've seen her face when they told her that she'll be my back-up!!! Holy Jebus, I thought she was going to punch me in the face!!!! Needless to say, we've crossed each others paths many times today and it's not pretty. I'm literally with my back against the wall!!!

What should I do? Confront her? Talk to the boss?

Man, this sucks!!!

WOW YOUR WORK IS FULL OF DRAMA QUEENS!!!

i would speak to her directly and just be like I do need to get trained and then if she is confrontational just say ok fine and walk away then go to your boss and tell him/her that you tried via email that you tried in person and no response if there is anyone else to train you or if he can speak to her and tell her that your just better qualified!!!

Your co-workers seriously have issues!!!
Talk to her and if that does NOT help, then talk to your boss. If you let this go by, in the end you will be the one to get in trouble.

Hi El MJ... I think you should escalate the issue.... now with saying that I don't mean "RAT" on her. I think you should simply tell your boss you are waiting to be trained on specific projects and you'd like to schedule a meeting with this co-worker and himself to iron out the outstanding issues.

Just walk right up to her with a smile and tell her you need to be trained/instructed/direction ASAP on how to do what you need to do because there are deadlines.   If she doesn't want to or is confrontational, pull her hair with both hands, bending her over towards you and quickly and with force, lift your knee right to her face.

Same steps I suggested yesterday.

Step 1 -
Step 2 -

You'll be suprised how much of a statement a tomato to the face can make.
