Faking a profile would probably be difficult considering this is sponsored by the government.
I think this is a good idea. I think the purpose is to locate deadbeat fathers in order to hold them accountable.
I think the government is targeting extreme cases of deadbeat dads - those who have literally 'disappeared'. The web site is set up so that people can volunteer information if they know the whereabouts of a deadbeat dad.
I don't think the intention is to embarrass everyone who hasn't paid for child support and certainly not for vindicative purposes.

Unfortunately these pple do exist and it is very very sad that after all, the kids still have to suffer the lack of this or that bc "daddy" is not paying his share.
BTW, what about hte Mom's that have to pay child support to th dads ?

I totally agree. This could definately be used to ruin someone who is innocent

I don't agree with the dead beat dad situation...but I also think in SOME cases, women make it almost impossible for the fathers to cooperate or attempt to......especially with constant threats of "I won't let you see your kid"......it gets annoying I think......plus it's not all about the $$$

Sometimes the fathers don't do it to **** up the ex-wife's finances or just to give them a hard time - but they hear that their pic will appear on a deadbeat dad's website, they hurry up and pay... VERY FEW, I imagine; but it does the trick for some. I imagine high profile dads don't want to be seeing in that light.
