Kardinal Offishal just signed with Akons Konvict Music label, after numerous reports G-Unit was attempting to sign him. Good move from Kardinal, to try and break Canadian hip hop into American markets...something that hasn't really been done yet despite Canada producing some talented artists in recent times. Although the album may not exactly come out on Konvict music, Kardinal's manager has said that the Canadian rapper is officialy part of the Konvict family now. I'll be on the lookout for the album (titled 'Not For Sale') could be one of the suprise hits of 2007 if it has a good choice of singles.
If you ain't ever heard Kardinal Offishal before, check out this track with 50 Cent off Kardinal's mixtape with DJ Whoo Kid from last year 'Canadian Coke'.
I can't stand either of them but good for K.O. anyway.
