this movie is playing at yonge and eglinton

i think theres subtitles and it won an award

it looks like lord of the rings stuff

I've actually heard really great things about this movie. When it comes out on the dish or DVD I'll watch it. It's nominated for an Oscar this year for Best Foreign Film.


And I cried at the end! I forget why I'm proud of this.

 Uuuuuh, no it's not. It's just Spanish from Spain. It's supposed to take place in the 1940's, a few years after the Spanish Civil War. Hardly "old proper" Spanish... if anyone even knows what proper Spanish is.

I saw it at the CIneplex....great movie...gives you the feeling of being in a broadway type show, but its a movie.  Very well done flick, brush up on your spanish unless you are ok with subtitles.  Its all proper spoken old spanish.

i read something about being a child´s tale made for adults.....so i guess i will check it out.

Oh, I really liked it too. I thought I wasn't going to and in fact we only went because of the slut issue but we really enjoyed it.

PAN's Labyrinth (El Laberinto del Fauno).

Its a movie in spanish, saw it yesterday and I gotta say it is one of my favorites....Just a great piece of art.  I recommend it, just thought I'd say because I know there are some movie fanatics on this forum.
