Of course!! These things don't usually go past 1am...or 2am the latest for the party holics....but usually by 12 or so you will see people leaving.....
It's a fundraiser....once a year for this cause (i think)...so it's worth staying awake....plus, sponsors just come to show face anyway......
@ MJ .... the cover is $50 by the way....
so is $50.00 fro tonight? and what time does it start?

No can do. You already see what I have in store for me plus El Pibe and I just gave first and last to our landlord.
On top of that, I have to pay the gov't $2000 and $400 to those people who take care of speeding tickets and now I have to get my baby licensed.
I need to find a p/t job!!!

It's a fundraiser......and those types of private events cannot be held on weekends.... LULA's weekends are busy and booked as it is......
Julie and I went to see ALEX CUBA BAND at Lula on a TUESDAY night and the place got so packed.....but it was nice and cozy...the dance floor had tables and every table had candles.....very loungy like....people sat and enjoyed the performance.....
Doesn't anybody work the next day???

Romero House for Refugees Fundraiser Featuring Proyecto Charanguero
Wednesday, January 31st 8pm
$50 per person includes tasty Lula canapes
Call Anna Luengo now for tickets! 416 978 6896
(If you can’t make it yourself, please consider buying a ticket for a Romero refugee to attend)
Proyecto Charanguero is a ten-piece salsa band with a difference. Wonderful danceable music that won’t damage your eardrums, but will carry you off to Cuba with the sounds of the more traditional “Charanga” music, using strings and flutes mixed in with the congas, timbales, bass and piano instead of a brass section.
All proceeds go to Romero House.
